We now offer online consultations via eConsult. Click here to contact a GP or nurse, or seek self-help information regarding a medical concern. A doctor or nurse will respond to your medical query by the end of the next working day or sooner.

Using eConsult means you can consult at a time that suits you, from home or work, day or night, without having to wait for an appointment or queue on the phone for help, and might save you coming into the surgery.

Patients can also access LIVI online appointments. See an NHS GP in minutes via video consultation or book an appointment. Access to medical advice, prescriptions and referrals.

Open Monday - Friday 07:00 – 22:00 and Saturday - Sunday 08:00 – 16:00.

Download the app to get started TODAY, or visit https://www.livi.co.uk/ for more information.

Appointment System

Should you wish to arrange an appointment please contact the surgery on 01293 583320 during normal opening hours.

We operate an “advance booking appointment system” and therefore request that if you are unable to attend your booked time slot please let us know as soon as you can so that we can offer it to someone else. If you repeatedly fail to attend booked appointments you may be asked to leave the surgery and register with another practice.

Triage Team

Did you know that we operate a Triage system which may be easier for you than a booked appointment?

The triage system exists to offer telephone advice for common ailments, minor illnesses or emergency contraception.

This team can also arrange emergency appointments with a doctor should they feel it appropriate.

To make use of this service please call reception between 08:30 - 09:45 or 14:00 - 15:00 giving brief details and one of the Triage team will call you back.

Please note that problems are prioritised according to urgency.

Home Visits

Whilst we encourage our patients to come to the surgery, where we have the proper equipment and facilities available, we do appreciate this is not always possible. In this respect, if you do need a home visit, you can help us by calling reception as early on the day as possible.

You may only request a home visit if you are housebound or are too ill to visit the practice. Your GP will only visit you at home if they think that your medical condition requires it and will also decide how urgently a visit is needed. Please bear this in mind and be prepared to provide suitable details to enable the doctor to schedule house calls

You can also be visited at home by a community nurse if you are referred by your GP. You should also be visited at home by a health visitor if you have recently had a baby or if you are newly registered with a GP and have a child under five years.

Late For Your Appointment

Please attend your appointment on time, if you are late you may not be seen. If you are not seen you will not be able to rearrange your appointment until the next working day-except in the event of an medical emergency that requires immediate attention.

One Appointment, One Problem

Before you see the GP, work out what you are worried about. Highlight your concerns. Think about how you would describe your symptoms and get to the point without keeping important information to the end. Note that too many problems distract the doctor on dealing with your main problem and the doctor may be more likely to rush. Therefore we request that you address only one problem per appointment.

Cancel an Appointment

It is important that you inform the reception staff if you are unable to attend your appointment, this will allow that appointment to be offered to another patient. If you fail to notify the Practice that you are unable to attend, you will be sent a letter informing you that you have defaulted from your appointment. Persistent defaulters maybe removed from the list.

You can also complete our appointment cancellation notification request form. This can only be used if your appointment has been arranged for more than 24 hours in advance. (excluding weekends and public holidays). You can also call our cancellation line to cancel your appointment.

Text Reminder Service

We have a texting service which allows you to receive confirmation and reminders about your appointments.

To have this service you will need to register by completing a consent form. Do this now by clicking the image to the right hand side and complete the Online form!

Please remember to update your contact details with us when you change address, telephone numbers and email address.

Extended Hours

The practice has extended the consultation times on Mondays with additional appointments available from 07:30 am and up to 20:30 in the evening.

These are both doctor and nurse appointments.

Evening and Weekend Access to GP Appointments

GP appointments are now available during the evening and at the weekend for people registered with a GP in Crawley.

This means that both routine and urgent appointments are available at a local hub during weekday evenings and on a Saturday and Sunday, to make sure local people get the health help and support they need.

NHS Crawley CCG, working in partnership with local patients and clinicians, designed the service. The appointment hubs are run by Alliance for Better Care Ltd, the local GP Federation.

How to book an evening or weekend appointment at a hub

Appointments can be booked through your own GP practice in the normal way, during normal opening hours.

Clinicians working at the hubs will be able to access your medical records with your agreement. You will be asked before any information is shared and can decline if you wish.

Your help to design this new service

In preparation for this additional, improved access to GP care, we sought the views and experiences of local patients and the public through a survey. The results can be found here:
